Comprising new music releases, live events and DJ parties, Call And Response Records is a Tokyo-based label specialising in postpunk, new wave and indie music from the Japanese underground music scene.

The label started in 2005 and has released a number of albums and EPs, compilation albums and smaller DIY projects. We organise and support a variety of live music events and DJ parties in and around the Tokyo suburb of Koenji, as well as occasionally further afield in Tokyo and around Japan.
